About Me

Quran Malik is an Actor based in New York City. Quran was born and raised in New York City, hailing from The Bronx, where he began acting at the age of 15 in one-act student produced productions. He soon discovered that he had a deep love and passion for the craft of acting, as well as storytelling and the artistry that comes along with it. He made it his purpose to pursue his dreams as an actor, no matter what challenges came his way. Quran went on to get his first lead role as the Cowardly Lion in a theatrical production of The Wiz during his senior year of high school.

Quran went on to study Theater and Sociology at SUNY Buffalo State College, graduating as a dual degree major in 2016. In 2017, Quran joined Theatre 68, a bicoastal theatre company located in New York City and Los Angeles. There he would have his Off-Off Broadway debut as Felix in The Chair Afterlife, an original one act play a part of Theatre 68’s annual one-act festival. Later that year, he began his training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts at the New York campus where he studied acting for the stage, television, film, and musical theatre. He graduated from the two-year conservatory program in 2019. His Academy credits include Gerald in Time and The Conways and Ernest in Kentucky.

Quran got his first film role as Big Nate in the 2021 short film, The Blue Cave, which has went on to receive many nominations and accolades at many film festivals nationally and internationally. Quran is just getting started in the professional acting and model world, but continues to work hard, elevate his craft, and pursue the career path he knows was destined for him.
